Maria Elena Walker

Maria Elena (Helen) Walker was born on June 30, 1970. Helen is alive in spirit driven by her faith, family, friends, and those who she met throughout her life’s journey. She is a spirited, vibrant, big-hearted, and compassionate person.

At age 47, our Lord called Helen into eternal peace on January 14, 2018. Her mother, Esperanza Alvarado, nephew Louie Bowler, and grandmother Andrea Lino received her with open arms when entering the kingdom of God. She is survived by her father, Raul Alvarado; husband, Saul Walker and two sons – Eric and Zacchry Walker; granddaughter, Amelia Walker. Her sisters, Rosa Bowler, Carolina Johnson, Teri Castrejon, and MaryLou Perez; brothers, Miguel and Joe Alvarado. She also leaves behind twelve nephews and nieces along with countless extended family members.

Funeral service will be as follows:

Viewing/Rosary at Phoenix Memorial Park & Mortuary (Dignity Memorial), 200 W. Beardsley Rd., Phoenix, AZ on January 18, 2018 at 7:00-9:00pm.

Religious Celebration at St. Joan of Arc Catholic Parish, 3801 E. Greenway Rd., Phoenix, AZ on January 19, 2018 at 10:00am followed by interment at Phoenix Memorial Park & Mortuary
