Preceding her into Heaven are 3 of her brothers and her son, Jesus Martinez. Lucy lived life to the fullest. She spent most her days doing what she loved. She collected butterflies in every shape, color and size. She enjoyed the company of her beloved goldfish. Her home was filled with beautiful dolls, old and new. She loved to crochet and make beaded jewelry. Lucy is survived by many family members including her daughter Martha (Claudio) Rivas, 7 grandchildren, 17 great grandchildren, 1 great-great grandchild and another on their way. Lucy was very active in her faith and family. She was a kind hearted woman who enjoyed the company of friends in her community. Lucy never met a stranger, and was loved by all who knew her. She will be deeply missed and forever cherished. The family would like to extend heartfelt thanks to Hospice of the Valley, Lund Home and especially Nana’s caregivers for their very special care and support.
