Maria Lydia "Lilly" Orona

93, Made her journey to our Lord in Heaven to join her departed husband Joe, son Ronald and daughter Cynthia on November 18, 2016. She is survived by daughter Yolanda, brother Samuel, 5 grandchildren, 15 great-grandchildren, and 3 great-great grandchildren. Lilly also leaves behind many extended family members and devoted friends. She passed away very peacefully and with dignity with her last words being "I am happy" and "I am very happy ". Lilly was known as a great cook, gardener, she loved music and dancing. She welcomed all into her home with graciousness, love, and laughter. She was a very vibrant lady. She also left many precious memories to all her family and friends. She especially found great joy in spending time with her grandchildren. She was also a great animal lover, especially cats. In her last days she spoke of wanting to dance with "her Joe" again. We're sure she's doing that now! In lieu of flowers donations to the ASPCA in Lilly's name would be appreciated. Because of Lilly's love for vibrant colors- Colorful attire will be worn at the services. Visitation is Wed. 11/30/2016 from 6-8 p.m. at Advantage Colonial 4141 N 19th Ave Phoenix, AZ. Mass is Thurs. 12/1/2016 at 9:30 a.m. at St. Matthews Church 320 N 20th Dr. Phoenix, AZ. Graveside to follow at 11:30 a.m. at Phoenix Memorial Cemetery Phoenix, AZ.
