Maria Dolores Marquez

Born in Chihuahua, Mexico May 19, 1925 to Maria Dolores Marquez Hernandez and Porfirio Marquez.

She immigrated to the US in 1971 and lived most of her life in California. She was a single parent and worked two jobs to raise and support her children.

Maria loved to sew and through the years, she made quinceanera, wedding, prom and many other beautiful dresses for her daughters, granddaughters and friends. She also loved to cook and made the most delicious tortillas.

Family and friends knew her as Lolita and was loved by so many. She lived a very long life and we all wish she could have lived forever. She was loving, caring and always looking out for her loved ones.

Maria had (5) children and is survived by (3) Javier, Cecilia, Cesar. She has joined her other (2) children Porfirio and Socorro in heaven. She has (17) grandchildren Lorenzo, Robert, Lourdes, Claudia, Jeannette, Frank, Gregory (deceased), Marisol, Javier, Annette, Alfredo, David, Lilliana, Diana, Andrew, Genessa, Amanda and {18) great grandchildren and (2) great great grandchildren.

She will be deeply missed and will forever remain in our hearts.
