Gino, I'm so deeply sorry for your loss.  Maria was a beautiful woman, caring mother and wonderful wife.  I loved having her as my next door neighbor in Rosedale growing up for all those years.  Then when she married you and had Salvatore.  I have such great memories of those day. Joe and Louisa downstairs and you and Maria living upstairs. Maria was one good person, with good heart and always funny and positive.  Always had a sense of humor and full of joy and optimism.  I always remember the good times when me and Gino used to play soccer and Maria would watch us play and also go to soccer party event and have a good time and laugh. I am so very sorry of your wife's passing. We have both suffered a terrible loss. Maria was such a sweet and caring person and I was very proud to call her my friend.  She was a friend to me in so many ways and I always enjoyed every moment I was able to spend with her. Maria and I met at work in 2009 and I was awestruck by how deeply caring she was for people. Maria truly would put others first before herself everyday. She touched my entire family.  My kids adored her and were so appreciative of the times they were able to spend with Maria.  

Our faith is certainly tested at times like this. I know it is difficult for us to understand a loss like this, but we need to be mindful of the true blessing that she was to us. That should give us the strength to continue on in faith knowing that she would want us to honor her memory in this way. 

I pray that God's choicest blessings will be bestowed on you and your wonderful family. May God grant you the peace and strength to carry on in faith.
