Margarita Garza Hernandez was born to Matiana Romo and Ernesto Garza on September 11th, 1947 in Odem, Texas. As a teenager, she attended and graduated from ‘Edison High School.’ When Margarita turned 18 she was employed with Phoenix Job Corps, she was a proud hard working woman. Margarita retired with dignity after 37 long years of work. When Margarita was not working, she loved to play Loteria and go to the casino. She always loved having a good time with her beloved family. Margarita Garza Hernandez passed away on September 8, 2019 in Phoenix, Arizona. She is survived by her Brothers; Juan Garza of Phoenix, AZ, Jose Garza, of Phoenix, AZ. Sisters; Juanita Garza of Phoenix, AZ, Maria Garza of Avondale, AZ, Refugia G. Emery of Chandler, AZ. Daughter; Dina A. Juarez-Serrano and son-in-law Juan M. Juarez-Serrano of Phoenix, AZ. Sons; Robert G. Lucio of Phoenix, AZ, Jose Gonzales of Phoenix, AZ. Daughter-in-law’s; Victoria Hernandez of Phoenix, AZ, Roseann Hernandez of Phoenix, AZ. Her spirit is lived through all of her family members, including all 15 grandchildren and 11 great-grandchildren. Margarita Garza Hernandez will be cherished and dearly missed.
