Margaret Alberta Snyder

On Sunday, June 30, 2019 at 10:35pm, Margaret Alberta Snyder took her last breathe

and took the stairway to Heaven. Margaret Snyder was born on August 17,1937 in

Cumberland, Maryland. Margaret was a wife, mother, grandmother,and

great-grandmother. She was preceded in death by the love of her life, John H. Snyder,

Jr. They were married for over 50 years and had 3 children: Diana Marie Grimes

(spouse Steve) of Crossville, Tennessee, Donna Mae Duggins (spouse Carl) of

Glendale, Arizona and James Leroy Snyder (spouse Amanda) of Las Vegas, Nevada.

Margaret had a sister and 3 brothers: June, Paul, Jim and Wayne. She has 5

grandchildren and 7 great-grandchildren. She was a homemaker and did ironing and

babysitting for people when she lived in Virginia from 1955 to 1989. Every summer

when the kids were out of school we would go to grandma's camp in Paw Paw, West

Virginia; Shenandoah Camp, and we would go crabbing in Maryland. When she moved

to Arizona in 1989, she volunteered for the Maricopa County Elections for over 10 years

and dedicated 25 years of volunteer service to the Community Center of Peoria. Her

hobbies were playing bingo, canning food, watching football games and doing

crossword puzzles. She loved to cook and was so awesome at cooking. Her favorite

football team was the Washington Redskins and the Arizona Cardinals. Her favorite

restaurant was Golden Corral and her favorite drink was Pepsi. Her favorite food was

shrimp and crabs.
