Margaret Christine (Dahl) Peyton, age 89, passed away peacefully in her sleep on April 17th, 2024 in Phoenix Arizona. Born February 23rd, 1935 to her late parents Theodore and Catherine Dahl in Los Angeles California, she graduated from Hamilton High School and attended classes at UCLA. At age 16 she meet her lifelong friend of 73 years, Helen. They worked together for three years as operators at Southwest Bell. She then met William Peyton, and the two were married at The Little Brown Church in the Valley in Studio City CA. Entering the glamour life of Hollywood, she found herself working for Michael Todd, Producer, on the production of "Around the World in 80 Days," and attended The Grammys. After that, she worked for Earl Scheib, who would "paint any car any color for $29.95." However, the job that brought her the most joy was being a wife and raising her family of three boys Michael, Stephen, and John. She loved and cared for her extended family as well which included her mother, mother-in-law, her two sisters Patricia and Barbara, all of her nieces and nephews from both sides of the family whom were very important to her, foster children, and even the neighborhood kids. She also dearly valued and loved all of the friends she had, both long term and recent. A lady of many talents, cooking was amongst the top as she hosted Thanksgiving dinner every year and served 27 family members one year! Knitting was another one of her passions, especially sweaters and afghan blankets which she knitted for hospice patients during her retirement years. She also had a love for travel and explored many countries. Partnering with her husband, she opened up and operated a Round Table Pizza restaurant. She was strong, passionate, glamorous, considerate, loving, possessed a great sense of humor, as a loving and devoted wife of 64 years, and a mother to all. Preceded in death by her husband William, oldest son Michael, and sister Patricia, reuniting with them in Heaven, she is survived by her two sons Stephen and John and her sister Barbara. She was truly loved and will be dearly missed. A Memorial Service will be held on April 27th, 2024 11am at Christ Anglican Church, 35500 N Cave Creek Road Carefree AZ 85377.
