Lupe Alcocer she was many things to a lot of people in her life. She was a daughter, a sister, an aunt and a cousin. Most importantly, she was a wife to her husband Marcos Alcocer for 69 years. She was also our hero, our mom, our friend and confidant, Nana or Nani to the grandkids and great-grandkids. She was a true believer of knowledge and a good education is key to make something of yourself. She put herself through college and became a registered nurse and work for over 30 plus years at Maricopa County Medical Center and eventually retired in the home that her and my father built on 107th avenue and Camelback because that's where she grew up as a little girl with María en Alejandro Moreno and she one of 8 brothers and 5 sisters. And later moved to Tolleson on 92nd avenue Taylor St. She has four children one son, Tony and three daughters; Veronica, Dorothy and Elizabeth, 9 grandkids and 14 great-grandchildren. She was also a very devoted child of God and taught many people the word of God.
