Luke Dwaine Hansen, age 28, went home to be with the Lord on December 7, 2022 in Federal Way, Washington. He was a warm-hearted and generous loving son, brother, father and friend. Luke is survived by his 8-year-old son Luke Jr., his mother Cory, his father Tom, his brother Thomas, his sister Olivia, and many Aunts, Uncles, and Cousins. He is preceded in death by his Grandparents Carolyn and Dwaine Pfeifer, Grandparents Joanne and Bruce Hansen, and his cousin Cody Widmer.
Luke was born September 21st, 1994 in Anchorage, Alaska. He spent his young life in Alaska, Colorado, and Arizona before he graduated Greenway High School in 2013. After graduating high school, he began working toward a degree in Radiologic Technology at The Bryman School of Arizona. While pursuing his degree, Luke realized he wanted to do more for his Country and soon after enlisted in the United States Army and graduated Basic Training in March 2015. After Basic Training he studied Satellite Communications at Fort Gordon, Georgia as a 25S during his Advanced Individual Training and later moved to Washington to start his own adventure. Always one with nature, Luke loved exploring the great outdoors and enjoyed exploring, hiking, camping, and fishing.
A celebration of Luke’s life will be held on Thursday, December 22nd, 2022. Visitation will be held from 12:00 pm until time of service, 1:00 pm at Life Church, (8765 W. Kelton Ln, Peoria, Arizona 85382). The Committal Service will occur at Arrowhead Memorial Gardens following the service (21000 N 75th Ave, Glendale, Arizona 85308).
