Lucy Knott

Beloved Mother, Grandmother, Sister, Aunt, friend and Devoted Christian has joined the Holy Father. Born in Worth County, Georgia, she became a cosmetologist and later in life became an ordained minister after graduating from Oral Roberts University.

Lucy, one of twelve children, is survived by her youngest brother William Walls and his spouse Wanda, 3 children and their spouses; Roger and Roberta Massey, Arthur and Joyce Massey, Lucianne and Jim Wies and her step daughter Pamela Silva, her grandchildren Jade, Paul, Michael, Melissa, Matthew, Richard, Ryan, Rebecca, and John. Lucy also has 14 great grandchildren and 2 great great granddaughters.

Lucy loved to entertain and play hostess. She was a phenomenal cook and prepared multi-course meals for large gatherings regularly. She was a true southern woman, dressed and put together at all times. She enjoyed her many friends through her bible studies, Christian Care and Sunday school at First Assembly of God. Her love of family was only superseded by her love of the Lord. She’ll always be remembered by her grandkids as the “Pincher” if misbehaving.
