Loyce Barber Sr.

70, passed away on Friday, September 10, 2010 in Phoenix, AZ. He was preceded in death by his parents Henry and Doshie Barber. Loyce was a member of the Laborer’s Union Local #383 where he retired as the Business Agent. He was also a lover of all types of music. Loyce leaves to cherish his memory: daughters Gwendolyn Y. Trotter (Christopher Sr.) and Tiffany Barber; son Loyce Barber, Jr.; grandchildren Christopher II, Channing and Chevis Trotter and Anaya Matthews; great grandchildren Dallis and Jaxen Trotter; sister Ethel Ray and a host of other relatives and friends. Visitation will be held 5:00pm to 8:00pm, Thursday, September 16, 2010 in the Chapel of East Resthaven Park Mortuary, 4310 E. Southern Ave., Phoenix, AZ., 85042. Funeral Service will be held 10:00am, Friday, September 17, 2010 also in the Chapel at East Resthaven Park Mortuary. Interment will follow at National Memorial Cemetery of Arizona, 23029 N. Cave Creek Rd., Phoenix, AZ 85024.
