Laugh as we always laughed at the little jokes we enjoyed together.    Lori's funeral was a very meaningful experience for all of us who were able to attend.  Although difficult for each of you, you gave us all insight into the kind of person she was and how much she meant to your family.  The love that you shared was very evident and could certainly serve as a role model for all of us.
   How pleased I am that I had a chance on several occassions to visit with Lori at MOAA events.  It gave me an opportunity to get to know her a little bit.  As you have explained to me, she had medical problems which were no doubt challenging not only to her but for each of you as well.  How fortunate she was to have you there for her.

We started out pulling each others hair and having a cat fight over grandma's purses.  Both middle children, we were fierce and wanted our way; we met our match in each other.
We grew older and played and played, and dressed up and made up plays and funny songs and skits.
We grew older and did our hair and makeup and nails.  We listened to music (Loverboy!) and went out dancing and boys thought we were pretty (and we were!)
We had ski trips and camping trips and trips to each others houses. We shared many holidays together.
We called each other on the phone and shared secrets.
We shared good times and bad, and were there for each other.  You were such a great listener, I hope I was too.
We grew into adults and were fortunate to see each other 1 or 2 times a year. Tahoe was our best time to catch up on everything. Tahoe was filled with many hours of euchre, eating hot tamales and lots of laughs.
You loved my kids and they loved you.  You were kind to everyone. (Carson loved your massages! Didn't we all? I said you should become a masseuse!)
Your love for your family and friends will be cherished and remembered by everyone. Your spirit, smile, and sparkly personality will be missed so much.  We look forward to seeing you again in heaven.  See you soon sweet Lori, see you soon.

It was a privilege to attend Lori's Memorial Service this afternoon.  It was a moving and inspiring experience.
How  wonderful to know that she had entrusted her life to a faithful creator some time ago and is now in His

the former (being with our loved ones here and now), by a simple act of faith e can also enjoy the latter ( being

Lori and I had a great bond whenever we saw each other, if it was in Tahoe, Walnut Creek or San Ramon. I am so sad and grieving with you...Lori was one of my most favorite cousins and I have the fondest memories of all sorts of fun that all of us girls had when we'd come to visit and also when you'd all come home....
 
She will always be remembered by the Special Light in her eyes, her Incredible Smile that brought my heart Joy and her Contagious Laughter that I can still hear...She was a bundle of fun and a real Encourager!   If I was sad or felt left out.... It was always Lori who looked out for me or stuck up for me saying... "Guys common, don't be mean to Stephi" and she would make Cassie let me play with them and she'd pick me to be on her team!  Imagine how special she made me feel...except for this one time when her and Cassie kept trapping me, Suzie and Sam in her closet...then it was Lisa who came to 
our rescue... other than that... Lori was my hero!  And she still is!  She is an Overcomer, a Victor and now Made New in the presence of Jesus- as we all will be for those of us who Love Him and put our trust in Him. 
And one day very soon we will join her in singing to our Great God and we'll dance on the streets that are golden with the Glorious King...and I'll bet you... Lori will be leading us the whole way......HOME.
We are casting our cares upon Him and praying for you all constantly.

We were all very fortunate to have had Lori in our lives.  Lori had a very loving heart and was always wanting to do something nice for others.  When Susan and I started dating in college, Lori was the first member of the Perkins family that I met.  She always made me feel like part of the family, and I will always cherish the memories of the weekends Susan and I shared with her.  Lori loved to play board games, and I have many fond memories of playing Risk and Monopoly with her late into the night.  Lori's love of Chad, Kyle, and Corrin was always apparent, and the kids enjoyed every moment they spent with her.  Lori's caring and thoughtfulness will be forever missed by our entire family.

To the whole Perkins family go our thoughts and prayers on the loss of your beautiful child.  We know she is all blinged out and shinning brightly in Heaven.  God bless you all.

My heart reaches out to all that loved Lori.My last memories of being with Lori was in Ohio, I will always remember her beautiful smile and love for her family, and the love that both of us shared for ice cream, which we indulged in repeatedly that weekend.  I send my love to all the family.

Lori, Ill miss you very much, and the memories and fun times we had. I always looked foward to the times you came and visited,and the fun times in Tahoe with the family. We will all never forget all the memories, miss you dearly.

Lori you were truly an amazing, wonderful person who was always putting others before themselves. I am so blessed that you were able to be a part of my life. You have an amazing family who loves and cares for you and I wish you the best. XOXO

Auntie lori, I love you so much and will miss you all of the time. There will always be that special spot in my heart for you that you touched every time i was with you. I am going to miss the wonderful times that we had of going to starbucks, watching movies, or just joking around all of the time but i will definetly treasure those memories. Lori you were the most kind hearted person i have ever known and always tried to do something special for someone to make their day better.  You were always able to brighten someones day no matter how bad the day that they could of been having. Lori i love you so much and you will always be missed, and i know that you are looking down from heaven on everyone that you have touched in your life right now.  You are loved and missed by so many.

Auntie Lori, i'll miss you every moment of every day, but i will never forget geting starbucks when i visited you in phinox or geting manipeties for our girls day out. However I will miss your hugs and kisses that made me happy and loved, thats what ill miss most.I love you so much.
