On June 25, 2022 Linda Hamman passed on to be with her Lord and Savior, Jesus Christ. We know that she enjoyed a cosmic celebration and is dancing with the Angels, painting the sunsets, and playing with her beloved dog, Champ. Linda was born on August 19,1955 in Lincoln, Nebraska and came to Arizona in 1961. Linda was an incredible daughter, sister, wife, mother, friend, teacher, artist, dancer and fighter against the cruel grip of Alzheimer’s disease which eventually took her body, but never her spirit. Linda radiated a powerful love and her smile would light up a room along with anyone in it. She was a fun-loving soul who was passionate about dancing, music, art, the outdoors, and her faith in God. She cared deeply for her family and friends and gave her all to those in her life. Words fail to capture the awesome beauty of Linda’s life. Her spirit will live on with her husband, John Hamman, and four children Lily Ann Randall (Kenneth), Jacob Tell Hamman, John Luke Hamman (Megan), and Justin Hopkins Hamman and seven grandchildren. Linda is also survived by her parents, Dr. James and Patricia Hopkins and brothers James and Michael Hopkins. We would like to extend special thanks to all of our family, friends, and caregivers that graciously helped us with their support and love with Linda's caregiving. We couldn't have done it without you. In lieu of gifts or flowers, contributions in Linda's honor should be made to Bethany Bible Church, and/or Hospice of the Valley, and/or Teepa Snow's Positive Approach to Care.
