Chino, California he grew up working on the family dairy farm where he learned discipline, hard work and respect at a very young age. Leo graduated from
Corona High In 1957, he moved with his family to Arizona in 1957 as well he continued working on the dairy farm, he enlisted in the Army National Guard in 1963 during his enlistment he trained with 158 infantry medic, he was a staff Sargent E5 when he got out in 1969. Leo met his wife Rebecca “Becky” Doyle and they were married 11/29/1968 their bond lasted for 52 years, he moved his wife to Tolleson, Arizona where he continued working as a dairyman. Leo loved to go to the beach, camping, fishing in northern Arizona, amusement parks, he was a devoted Christian and was a member of the Church of God for 30 years, He was kind, strong minded and family man. In the 1980’S he went on disability and suffered a long illness survived by his wife Rebecca “Becky” Doyle-Odle of Sun City Az, Dr Leo Odle jr and wife Jennifer, Gilbert Az, Doyle Odle Sun City, Az grandchildren Leo Odle III “Tripp” of Gilbert, Az., Luke Odle Gilbert, AZ Lauren Hernandez of Boston, Ma. brother Larry Odle and wife Gale Odle of Peoria, Az. Preceded in death his mother Martha Irene Page-Odle, father Ezra Odle, sister Martha Odle, brother’s Ezra Odle jr, James Odle, William E Odle.
Leo will be greatly missed for his love, strength and positive outlook.
A celebration of life for Leo will be held Thursday, February 4, 2021 from 1:00 PM to 2:00 PM at Phoenix Memorial Park and Mortuary, 200 W Beardsley Rd, Phoenix, Arizona 85027, followed by a graveside service from 2:00 PM to 3:00 PM.
