Lee Gaylord Johnson, a new resident to Goodyear, Arizona, after residing on Maui for close to twenty years, passed away April 3, 2020, at the age of 90, (Born July 31, 1929). Lee was born in Seattle, Washington. The son of the Lyman Johnson and Alice Taylor (both deceased.) Predeceased in 2017, by his wife of sixty-six years, Beatrice Kathleen Johnson. He is survived by siblings, Jerry Johnson (the late Essie), Halsey Taylor (Margaret), and sister-in-law Pamela Myers (the late Ted). Predeceased by sister Darlene Deppman (and the late Edward).
Sadly missed by his children, Sandie Doff-Sotta (Chris) of Missouri, Nancy Clyne (Terry) of Ontario, Canada and Larry Johnson of Washington State. Including grandchildren: Lonnie Johnson, and Jordan, Taylor and Katie Clyne. Also, sadly missed by his care-giver family in Arizona.
Lee and Bea raised their children in Seattle, Washington, where Lee was a pastor and high school teacher.
Most of their retirement years were spent on Maui, Hawaii. Lee and Bea served God all their lives and were always active in the church.
Following his wishes, cremation has taken place.
