Lawrence W Schweitzer

Larry was born February 6, 1937 in Adrian, MN where he grew up on the family farm with 12 brothers and sisters. He went on to graduate from Marquette University and the University of Minnesota. He worked as an Electrical Engineer and Quality Manager at Honeywell in Minnesota and Arizona. Larry dearly loved his family and friends. He had an incredible smile and wonderful sense of humor. He enjoyed flying, skiing, golfing, roller dance skating, bowling, sailing, hiking, camping, and attending the theater, sporting events and art shows. He loved hosting and attending many fun filled gatherings with family and friends. Larry passed away peacefully surrounded by family on September 5, 2016. He is survived by his beloved wife Cindy, daughters Patty Nylander, Tracy Garrett (Todd), Julie Ford (Jon), Gabriel Tepper (Steve), Cherie Fisher and Aimee Fisher; Grandsons Addison Garrett, Colton Garrett, and Logan Ford; Granddaughters Madeline Nylander, Morgan Nylander and Ashten Fisher, and numerous brothers and sisters. A memorial mass will be held on Friday, October 14th 10:00 am at St. Thomas More Catholic Church, 6180 W. Utopia Rd, Glendale, AZ.
