I met Kevin at GCC when he was working at the airport. We dated for a while and then continued to run into each other on/off at equine events. He was one of those people that even though time had gone by you could pick up the conversation where you left off. My husband enjoyed his company too. It’s also a small world that my son Micah married a lovely girl Maya, who knew Kevin’s daughters through FFA. He  was intelligent and funny, talented and kind. Although I had not seen him in years I feel a hole is now in the universe where this charismatic person had been. My deepest sympathies to his wife and children and family. Doras Milhon

There are no words but please know that Le and I are sending a tremendous amount of love and light your way.  Our hearts go out to you and your family and we hope that you will find comfort in your memories and the fun and beautiful times shared.

Kevin was a dear high school friend of mine. He escorted me to his prom when I was just a sophomore and he a senior. He was a perfect gentleman and lots of fun. I think we were in choir together, also. 
It makes me so happy to know he had a loving family, and that he loved his Lord. 
Be at peace in our Savior’s presence, dear friend.

To the family of my friend Kevin Rogers, his voice and handshake reside in my heart and I am forever thankful for the years we shared as friends and advocates for the agricultural way of life. "The Lord is close to the broken-hearted and saves those who are crushed in Spirit." Psalm 34:18

In the early 1980's our daughter participated in showing horses through 4-H. At one of the first horse shows there was a handsome young man who was helping everyone. This great man was Kevin Rogers. And thus began a beautiful friendship that continued to grow with our families. He has established an incredible legacy and we are very grateful for our time with him. Mr. Rogers was so fun to be around when he would visit Taylor in College Station.  He’s the one who made sure I knew “Cotton is King!”  & I will never forget it. Love this family so much!




I love the Rogers family with all of my heart. I first met Kevin as I served as an Arizona FFA State Officer in 2016. If you’re a friend of the Rogers, you know as well as I do that you quickly become family. I first befriended Taylor, that year and now she is my best friend. After a few evenings with the Rogers somehow I started to call Kevin my dad #2. As a girl who lost her dad, I found quite a few “adoptive dads” over the years but Kevin always greeted me with a “hello daughter” and a big dad hug. One of my funniest memories with Kevin was at a County Fair Board meeting while I was talking to another adopted family of mine. He walked up and heard me call someone else a second parent. Then without skipping a beat said “I thought I was your second dad. How many of us are there?”. And then his contagious laugh echoed through the room. I have seen first hand what a great dad he is to his kids and feel lucky to have gotten even a fraction of that experience. The week before he passed I spent a lot of time with him as I am an employee at the Maricopa County Fair, one of his favorite places. He greeted me several times during the week with a hug, dad joke, and an offer to help me with anything I needed. He made my first year as County Fair employee unforgettable with his kind heart. I will miss him dearly, and never ever forget how he made me feel welcomed into the agriculture community as someone who didn’t grow up in it. 

There are just no words to explain how deep my sadness is in the loss of my “Bud “ and  the sorrow I feel for Janel, Taylor, Kevin Gary, Haven, Morgan and Richard. 
I just keep wondering who I will text when I wanna share some Farming topic ( mine in Illinois,  his in Arizona), who will bring Pizza out to an Arizona Campsite to share around a campfire, who will share my love of VVBC, who will jump at the “chance to call ADOT” and get three vehicles licensed from Idaho and most of all who will manage Work Camp ? 
Life will never be the same but I am joyful Kevin is in Heaven with Our Lord, keeping an Eye  out for ALL of us as he has always done. Jan Wehrle
