He is survived by his loving wife of 30 years Lynn Jacoby-McClellan, his daughter Deborah McClellan, his brother Jim McClellan (Marie), stepson Brian Schwartz (Kirsten) and step-grandsons Benjamin and Adam Schwartz.
Born and raised in Phoenix, Arizona, son of Kenneth and Eva McClellan, he attended Arizona State University and graduated with a BS in electrical engineering. After graduation, he moved to southern California to work for the Department of Defense. Ken moved his family to Sacramento in 1981 to work at McClellan Air Force Base where he managed worldwide missile and radar systems for the military. In 2001, Ken retired when McClellan Air Force base closed.
Ken had a passion for his red Corvette, his Harley Davidson and his garage full of tools that would allow him to complete any household or automotive project. Family and friends will remember his kind nature, dry sense of humor, and his beautiful smile.
Per Ken’s wishes, he will be buried in Phoenix, Arizona, next to his parents and extended family. In lieu of flowers, please consider donating to the Cure Alzheimer’s Fund at https://curealz.org/.
