Kenneth was born in Shamokin, PA. To Mae and Henry Gunther on May 17, 1925. He attended Coolidge High School in Washington, DC. He was awarded the Bronze Star and Purple Heart while serving in the Army in WWII and went on to work for Eastman Kodak in Washington DC for more than 20 years before moving to Phoenix, Arizona. Kenneth is preceded in death by his parents, his wife, Elizabeth (Libby) and his son Kenneth William.
Kenneth is survived by his daughters, Nancy Gunther of Incline Village, Nevada and Patricia Van Housen of Apache Junction, AZ. He is also survived by his grand children Melanie Ward, Jennifer Joyce and Sherri Haraway. Great grandchildren: Alexander Ward, Tatum Ward, Joey Rendahl and Benjamin Joyce.
