Keith Alan Longhurst, 43, of Gilbert, Arizona passed away on October 27, 2015. He was born to Diana (Carrigan) Larsen and Ken Longhurst on December 6, 1971 near Chicago, Illinois and moved to the suburbs of Phoenix, Arizona as a teenager. He graduated from Dobson High School in Mesa, Arizona in 1990 and later became a home appraiser.
Keith was filled with humor and kindness. His jokes would often cause tears of laughter and equally often caused a groan and an eye roll. Either way, his light-hearted demeanor made him a joy to be around. He had a love of cinema and collected movies. He loved music of all types and enjoyed introducing people to new (and often humorous) music. Keith loved karaoke and had no shame in belting out a top 40 song in a Kermit the Frog voice. He had a knack for trivia and developed many close friendships while playing pub trivia regularly. He was a huge Denver Broncos fan. Above all, Keith loved his dog, Bella. It is said one can judge a person's character by how that person treats animals; Keith's care for Bella was a direct display of what a wonderful man he was.
He is survived by his Grandparents, Betty & Bernard Carrigan, Parents Diana (Jon) Larsen, Ken (Lynda) Longhurst, Siblings Kim (David) Thomasson, Sarah (Todd) McFarland, Jessica (Jonathan Cox) Longhurst, several step-family members, 7 nieces and 2 nephews. He was preceded by his grandparents, Valerie & William Longhurst.
