Karen Joyce Alvarez

We mournfully announce the passing of Karen Joyce Alvarez, 69, of Phoenix Arizona, passed away on February 13, 2021. Karen was born on October 12, 1951 to Loyd and Ollie Rudd, instantly bringing joy and laughter into the world. Karen will always be remembered for her vibrant fashion sense, energetic, loving and compassionate presence. Karen dedicated 24 years fulfilling years to the Arizona State Government, Chamber of Commerce where she retired. Karen is survived by her husband José Alvarez of 28 loving years, her children Tom, Tony (sons), Gina (daughter) and Penny (chihuahua). Also survived by her grandchildren Ann Marie, Natalia, Michael, Tony Jr., Sisters, Stella (Curt Worley), Vickie(Ken Summers) and several nieces, nephews and great nieces and nephews. The loss of Karen will be felt by all those who knew and loved her dearly.
