Jordan Suzanne Dickerson

Jordan was born in Phoenix on February 20, 1991. She was a fun-loving free spirit who loved nature and spent a lot of time hiking in the Sedona and Flagstaff area.

A 2009 graduate of Phoenix Christian High School, Jordan lettered in softball all 4 years. Her speed and skill at stealing bases earned her the nickname “Hammie” by her teammates. (A reference to the super fast squirrel in the animated movie “Over the Hedge".)

After attending classes at Glendale Community College, her kind heart and giving nature led to a career as a caregiver in both group home and private residence settings. Her generous spirit continued during her free time as she drove her grandmother and friends to doctor appointments and grocery shopping.

The acceptance and unconditional love she offered everyone was an inspiration. Her spunk and zest for life was contagious.

Her parents, her brother, grandparents, aunts, uncles, cousins, neighbors and friends were touched by her courage and perseverance. She will be greatly missed, but we find comfort in knowing she is in heaven resting in the arms of her Heavenly Father.
