Johnny H. May, of Phoenix, Arizona passed away at the age of 89 on February 13, 2014. He was born on September 7, 1925, in Ardmore, Oklahoma to Charles and Myrtle May. Johnny served his country in the Navy during World War II. He was an aviation machinist's mate, third class. During his service he received a Victory Medal, as well as, a Good Conduct Medal.
Johnny was an incredibly strong, loving, caring, giving, thoughtful and wise man, who will be missed immensely. He was dearly loved by those who were blessed to have known this amazing man.
He is survived by his son, Billy May; daughter, Linda Kennedy; daughter in law, Jan May; brother, Jim May; 11 grandchildren, 29 great-grandchildren, seven great-great grandchildren. Johnny is preceded in death by his wife, Margie May, daughter, Johnny McConnel, and son, Butch May.
