He was a beloved father, grandfather, son, brother and uncle.
Native to Arizona, he began his education at CJ Jorgensen Elementary and finished at South Mountain High School.
John's first job was at Fry's store at age of 15 and he saved up enough money to buy his very first car, a Pontiac Firebird. He was very proud.
He then became a truck driver at the age of 22 and drove for over 40 years. He enjoyed traveling to different states for work and had many stories to share over the years. He took pride in what he did.
Since retiring in 2021, John enjoyed spending more time with family, friends and his beloved dog, Dude.
John is survived by his two children, Andrea Garcia and Angela Aros, mother Margaret Torres, grandchildren Priscilla Torres, Alexis Aros, and Adrianna Garcia along with two brothers Albert and David.
John has preceded in death by his father Julian, brother Bob, and brother Tom.
A visitation for him will be held on Friday, February 9 at 11:00 A.M. at Greenwood Memory Lawn Mortuary, 719 N. 27th Avenue, Phoenix, with his funeral to follow at noon.
Interment will be at Greenwood Memory Lawn Cemetery.
