For some reason I thought about him talking about how I took karate and I looked him up😔 I absolutely loved him, his wife and sons. Taught me so much, discipline, courage and just how to be a good person. Rest easy Sensei. I'll remember you always, T'Raña Naekea Ross

Planet Earth lost a great teacher...one who taught me more than karate...

One of my favorite memories is all of us going camping. It's not gonna be the same without you grandpa, you were the heart of the group...Miss you like crazy and I love you so much. I've been thinking about you lately. We'll look after grandma for you.  <3

You'll definitely be missed John. Many words of advice that you gave me as a kid have passed on to mine.  You made an unforgettable impression on the world.

We have all been blessed to have known John.  He was a special friend when I needed him and he will always be with me. I don't need to ask how are you John, I know you are super.

As a Christian man. He is a dying breed . To bad for the world . To bad for us. Teachers of Gods word like him are very rare . To have known him has been a privilege and honor . He has left my wife and I a void in our hearts that will never be filled. My only regret is that I should have spent more time with him . He was a father,pastor,friend and we will miss him with all the passion
