John Michael "Mike" Schwarz, 49, passed away on October 9, 2011. Mike was born in Phoenix, Arizona, on February 8, 1962. He graduated from Madison Meadows Elementary School and Central High School and lived his entire life in Phoenix. Mike was an Eagle Scout whose drive and work ethic were the envy of all who knew him. For the past 10 years, Mike worked at the Safeway store 7th Street and Glendale near where he grew up. Mike's warmth, friendliness, and relentless optimism won him friends throughout the Valley, and he will be greatly missed. Mike is survived by his parents, John and Vivian, his sister, Susan (Nabil), his brother, Eric, and his aunt, Joan Piercey. Memorial services will be held at Christ Church Anglican, 5811 N. 20th St., Phoenix, AZ, on Saturday, October 15, 2011, at 1:00 PM.
