John “Shaulis” Hasler, beloved husband, father, artist and musician was called home Thursday, June 11, 2015. Born August 5, 1947, Shaulis lost his short battle with cancer. Shaulis was a friend to all who met him either casually or through his graphic arts business, Red Rooster Graphics. He will be missed greatly and never forgotten. Shaulis is survived by his parents Robert and Wilma Jean Hasler of Murfreesboro, TN, his wife and soulmate of over 30 years, Lauri, his son Jerry, sister Jeanie (Ken), brother Scott (Sandra), mother-in-law Janet, brothers-in-law Chris (Liz) and Rich (Jacque) many nieces and nephews and his beloved dog, Sprocket. His pastime was spent playing his guitars and Perry and the Comb Overs will never be the same. An Honor Guard Ceremony will take place at 9:00am on Friday, June 26th at the National Cemetery on N. Cave Creek Rd. and a Memorial Service to honor his life will be on Saturday, June 27th at 10:00am at West Congregational Church, 4650 W. Thomas Rd. Phoenix, AZ. In lieu of flowers donations can be made to the West Church Blessing Box fund.
