Jesus Rojas Lopez

He was a beloved spouse to his wife of 73 years whose commitment to his family, his gift of gab, and his love for life will be deeply missed by all who knew him. His children, grandchildren, great-grandchildren and great-great grandchildren were his whole heart and he loved the family parties where he could be with and enjoy his extended family. He loved his Arizona sports teams – Diamondbacks, Cardinals, Suns, and Arizona State Sun Devils. You could always count on him watching them on TV or attending a game in person. He proudly served in the U.S. Navy and worked his entire life to support his family in the copper mines of Arizona and his final 10 years at Motorola.

He leaves behind his wife of 73 years, Mary, his children Richard Lopez (Alice), Anna Lopez, James Lopez, Danny Lopez (Lori), Lorraine Lawrence (Kenny), and Marcie Arbizu (Bobby), 13 grandchildren, 15 great grandchildren, and 10 great-great grandchildren.

A memorial service to celebrate Jesus’ life will be held on April 10th, 2025 at 10:30am at St. Mary’s Catholic Church 230 West Galveston St., Chandler AZ.
