Jesus Alfredo Acuna

Al was born July 2, 1948 in Banamachi Sonora Mexico, to Espiridion and Delfina Acuna, and raised in Chandler, AZ. Al's parents owned and operated a small grocery store in which Al and his siblings helped to operate. Al made a career in retail until his health forced him into early retirement.

Al graduated from Seton Catholic Prepatory in 1966 and attended Northern AZ University. Al married the love of his life Audrey Calles in 1970.

Al cherished and adored his loved ones most. Although retired Al kept very busy looking after his two youngest granddaughters. Al was warm, loving and very affectionate, he was always willing to help others. Al was a devoted ASU, Phoenix Suns, AZ Diamondbacks, AZ Cardinals and Green Bay Packers fan.

He was preceded in death by his parents and his sister Haydee Jara.

Left to cherish his memory are his loving wife of 47 years Audrey Acuna, two daughters Andrea Myers-Quattrocchi and Alison May (Kevin), brother Espiridion Rick Acuna, sister Irma Guthrie, and eight grandchildren Austin, Anthony, Melanee, Sara, Angelo, Andres, Audrey and Ashley.

Mass will be held at the Saints Simon & Jude Cathedral Friday January 26, 2018 at 10:00am, 6351 N 27th Ave, Phoenix, AZ 85017, with a reception to follow also at SS Simon & Jude.
