Jessie Jeanne Valentine

Jessie Jeanne Valentine, 87, of Phoenix, Arizona, passed away on February 6, 2014. She was born in Phoenix, Arizona on September 7, 1926. Jessie graduated from Phoenix Union High School. She was married to William Maurice Valentine on November 16, 1946. Jessie was a proud homemaker. During her lifetime, she and husband Bill, with their five children, traveled Mexico fishing the Sea of Cortez. She was a volunteer hugger at Phoenix Childrenʼs Hospital for ten years and had a passion for walking and traveling with the Walk About Arizona Walking Club.

She is survived by her children, Billie Ruth Burns, Valerie A. Valentine, Marjie J. Valentine, Jimmy Jay Vandenbosch and Mike M. Valentine; six grandchildren, Troy Shelley, Mark Finizza, Rachel OʼBrien, Alicia Vandenbosch, Jim Miller and Brent Valentine; six great grandchildren, Ashley Piccuilla, Bo Piccuilla, Sofia Finizza, Valerie OʼBrien, Eli OʼBrien and Adison Miller; and three great-great grandchildren, Ricky Piccuilla, Natalia Piccuilla and Ian Piccuilla.

A memorial service will be held at A. L. Moore Grimshaw at 2:00 pm on February 18, 2014 at 710 West Bethany Home Road, Phoenix, AZ 85013.
