Jessica (Jessi) Ann Robertson Torno, of Phoenix, AZ, crossed the rainbow bridge in the early hours of July 21st, 2024. She is now laughing, playing fetch, and rolling around getting kisses from her babies Biddy, Annie, and Maddy. She has joined her father, Jerry Robertson, in watching over all the loved ones they left behind.
Jessi was born on April 17, 1976 in Rushville, IL. She was joined later by her brother Daniel, and her half-sisters Heather and Kari (Vaughn), who are heartbroken to have lost their dear sister to the same disease that took their father. She is survived by her in-laws Ricardo and Macbeth Torno, brother in law, Mark, and her stepmother, Cheryl. She also leaves behind her stepson, Jordan, her nieces: Emma, Ali, Bailey, Dani, Jocelyn, and Hannah all of whom she loved immensely. Her mother, Rebecca Collins, and her loving husband, Rich, ensured her last few months were spent being cared for in their home, enjoying visits from various family members and friends, while surrounded by her beloved dogs, Molly and Chloe.
Jessi worked for Banner Health in Arizona for over 20 years, in various facilities and locations. She last worked at the Surgical Pathology Laboratory at Banner University Hospital. But Jessi’s real passions lay in traveling and exploring the world with her husband, Rich, and loving most animals she came across. She loved dogs and cats to distraction and loved going to petting zoos where she could relive her days on her dad’s farm. She also enjoyed frequent trips back to the midwest where she could spend time with family and friends.
Jessi’s trademark smile and laugh were hallmarks at any function she attended. Although a self-admitted introvert, once she was out and comfortable in her surroundings, she was a blast to have around. She loved to make memories with her loved ones, and she will be immeasurably missed.
Arrangements entrusted to Phoenix Memorial Park & Mortuary, 200 West Beardsley Road, Phoenix, AZ 85027.
