Jerome Phillip Karcher was born on July 7, 1940, and went home on February 3, 2016. He was born in Brooklyn, New York. He is survived by his wife, Bonnie; 3 children; 3 grandchildren; 3 great-grandchildren and several nieces and nephews. Jerome was retired from the U.S. Army, Long Island Railroad and the Arizona State Department of Corrections. Jerome was a great warrior and hero who received a Silver Star, 2 Purple Hearts and many other ribbons. He will be greatly missed.
Visitation will be held on Monday, February 8, 2016 from 6:30 to 8 pm at Phoenix Memorial Park and Mortuary, 200 W. Beardsley Road, Phoenix, AZ 85027. Funeral services will be held on Tuesday, February 9, 2016 at 9:30AM at Phoenix Memorial Park & Mortuary Chapel with graveside services at 11AM at the National Memorial Cemetery of Arizona, 23029 North Cave Creek Road, Phoenix, AZ 85024.
