"Best friends!" is what we liked to call each other.  I am so proud and honored that she would consider me worthy enough of that name.  She and I met, when she flew to Texas, in 1994, to meet my oldest son; who was 5 months old at the time and is now 17!  We hit it off instantly! We both knew we were gonna be "best friends" forever! That first evening, she and I got into our "jammies" (as she would always say it....:) and made homemade brownies.  We drenched them with vanilla ice cream & chocolate syrup! Then snuggled in with a blanket and pillow on the couch to watch, of all choices for a movie, Jurassic Park!! (in the dark I might add) We screamed a few times..... we had a blast!  Of course, we stayed up that night talking for hours!  From that day forward.... we have shared many wonderful memories.  She was next to me when my daughter was born in 2007, a lovely trip to Canada, vacation in San Diego with her whole family; including Sara!;) and we have been there for each other in the not so good times too.... when my father died in a car accident in 2001, during my separation and divorce, when Sara was going through the very thing Jeannette has been struggling with these past few years. No matter what the situation in life was, the ups and downs and the fears and tears along with the highs and the beautiful surprises; Jeanette has been an unwavering soul that presses forward with a spirit that touched SO MANY PEOPLES LIVES, always exhibiting an insurmountable strength, wisdom, courage, compassion, love, grace and style! My heart will forever ache for her.  As i have already been missing her voice, words of encouragement and ability to know exactly what to say just when I needed it, even if that meant I might cry.   As I write this, I feel her soul and presence around me! She is dancing light radiantly beaming while she sings beautiful melodies around me.   She is with her heavenly father, righteously placed in HEAVEN with more crowns than we can imagine.  

We love you Jeanette and will miss you dearly!  Your life will forever shine brightly within us.  May we all be forever inspired to be as lovely as you are.

for anyone blessed to know you.  I would not be the woman I am today if it were not for you.  I am able to survive and stay strong today because you always believed in me.   You pointed out my strong suits when I was too discouraged to remember how to see my way through the battles I have suffered.   You will forever live on within me. Though I did not know Jeanette as well as I would have liked, she certainly had a great influence on all she touched.  When I first met her (a social event at Mike and Connie's) she was well into her battle with cancer.  Yet our conversation was on other things without a hint of what she was going through.  Remember that a life is not really measured by its quantity of days, but by its quantity of effect on others.  Jeanette's had great impact and inspiration; she will be missed!

I had the pleasure of knowing Jeanette during her cancer treatments. Her warmth, and loving nature bonded us. She would dance into the chemo unit with a smile on her face and her arms out waiting for a hug. My sorrow for Jeanette's passing is balanced by the knowledge that she continues to dance in heaven. I will always remember the lovely woman who fought bravely to survive. She taught me to live!

My heart is breaking for your loss. The first time I met Jeanette was at work. Her smile lit up my heart, her hug made you feel that she really cared about you. Jeanette had a energy that you could feel when she came into a room. I'm not a close friend of hers, but she touched my heart. I will miss her so much. She was a fighter, she was a warrior women!

I just learned today that you have gone to meet the Lord and to play with all the loved ones who have gone before us.  God speed Jeanette.

Jeanette and I went to Phoenix College together and we ate sauerkraut hotdogs every day at her Mom's house while in the paralegal program.  We remained in touch all these years.  I will always remember Jeanette as the friend who will drop whatever she's doing or give you whatever she has in her possession if you need it.  She is that unselfish.  I want to be the friend that Jeanette was to everyone that came in contact with her. What a kind soul with a wicked sense of humor.

Jeanette, there is some gorgeous hunk of an angel in heaven that is waiting for you.  Now I understand that no one on Earth was good enough for you.  Enjoy eternity my Friend -- see you soon.  Be at the gate with some homemade sauerkraut!

To Jeanette's family.  My friend Donna and I work at Costco which is the connection we have with your daughter, sister, aunt, and friend.  Over the last several years we became acquainted enough that she always stopped to chat with us and this last year, went in search of me in the store to say "Hello".  She was with her Mother and I felt honored that she wanted to see me and say hello but sad that I knew her time on earth was coming to a close.  She was an inspiration to us, (we were strangers basically), as she spoke of her battles but never in a whining way but just so matter of factly we were awed that she could push on and never seem to give up.  Donna and I want you to know we will never forget this kind person who only gave us her smile and a kind word.  In fact, her last words were to our manager about our kindness to her.  The loss you all have we know must be deep but we want you to know we will miss her, too.  Deanna Stump and Donna Woods, Costco friends.

My best memory of Jeanette was the first time I met her. Mother Helen and I are friends, and I had shared with Helen that I would begin treatment for my blood cancer soon.  We talked about doctors and discovered that Jeanette and I shared the same doctor and treatment center.  On my first day of chemo I was very scared and apprehensive.  As I sat in the treatment room hooked up to IVs, in walked an angel that needed no intoduction.  Her smile was as beautiful as her mother's. She was toting her dog, home baked treats and a goody bag filled with items to occupy my time, all while walking with one crutch.  She was no stranger to the staff that worked there.  They had all welcomed her with the joy of seeing her doing so well. We talked for some time and I was amazed at the courage she had with all the struggles she had been through, and the kindness to take the time to brighten my day. What she gave me was the courage to face whatever situation this journey may bring.  For that, I am forever grateful and privleged to know such a wonderful person. She certainly earned her angel wings!!!  My heartfelt condolences go to Helen and her family.  I hope you are comforted in knowing she is in peace now with our Lord.

Her death diminishes us all.  My heart goes out to her family - in a deep way.
