Jeanette R. Cross, 83 of Phoenix passed away on February 13, 2013. She was born June 1929 to Mike and Elizabeth (Zifilippo) Phillips in South Charleston, West Virginia and graduated from South Charleston High School in 1947. Jeanette has been a resident of Phoenix since 1948. She worked as a medical secretary for Good Samaritan Hospital and the Maricopa County Medical Examiner’s Office. She is preceded in death by her husband of 47 years, Joseph A. Cross, Sr. She is survived by her brother, sister, two step children and many nieces and nephews. A visitation will be held on Thursday, February, 21st from 5:00PM to 8:00 PM at Shadow Mountain Mortuary Chapel, 2350 E. Greenway Rd., Phoenix. Funeral services will be held on Friday, February, 22nd at 10:00 AM at St. Joseph’s Catholic Church 11001 N 40th St., Phoenix. In lieu of flowers, donations in her memory can be made to the Arizona Humane Society, Phoenix, Arizona.
