Janice Marie Thompson was born in Lubbock, Texas on October 7, 1964 to the parentage of Merlon Mack and Evelyn Jo Thompson. She grew up in Phoenix, AZ where she excelled in the Phoenix public school system, graduating from South Mountain High in 1983. Following in her brother’s footsteps, she went on to attend Southwestern Christian College where she was named Most Spiritual as well as Miss Dorcas Club because of her pleasant disposition, personality, and good works. Jan loved to sing and was a member and officer of the distinguished song group Affinity. After receiving her Associates Degree from Southwestern Christian College Janice continued her education at Abilene Christian University obtaining her Bachelor of Science degree in Political Science. She was preceded in death by her Sister-Priscilla Renee Thompson, Nephew/Son-Xavier Chance Thompson, and Father-Merlon Mack Thompson . She leaves to mourn her; Mother-Evelyn Jo Thompson, Brother-Melvin Mack Thompson (Vinetta), Sister-Michelle Evette Thompson, Nephews-Miles and Morgan Thompson, Aunts, Uncles and a host of other relatives and friends.
