Janice was born to Clarence & Gertrude Tingle on May 11, 1943 in Springfield, Missouri. The family moved to Detroit, Michigan in 1947. Janice graduated from Pershing High School in 1961. She then went to work for White Castle where she met Bob Kenney. The two moved to Van Nuys, California in 1966 where the pair wed. After the earthquake in 1968, Janice and Bob moved to Phoenix, Arizona. Early that same year, Janice found she was pregnant. Unfortunately, the baby passed at birth. She leaves behind three step children (Joyce, Bob, & Jeanette), four grandchildren (Bunk, Jamie, Austen, & Alex), and eight great children (Tommy, Gabby, Jackson, Hudson, Jack, Carson, Easton, & Graham), one sister (Diane), and one nephew (David).
