James Allen Poag, 47, of Phoenix AZ passed away on July 16, 2014. He was born on September 23rd, 1966 in Michigan. He moved to Arizona to raise his family. He loved spending time with his family. He was always a fun loving, very jokative man. He was a pipe fitter in the union for the past few years, before that he was a foreman pipe fitter for 18 years. He left behind wife Kris (Mahoney) Poag, son James Poag Jr., daughter Brittany Poag (Abraham Amarillas), son Justin Poag (Nicole Webster), GrandChildren: Analysia, Abraham Jaycob, and Alyvia, and his many beloved four legged children, all of Phoenix, AZ. Also left behind mother Sandy Poag, siblings: John Poag Jr., Bob Poag, Kim (Poag) Smith (Kerry), Chuck Poag (Tracey), and brother in-law Bill Pickering, all of Michigan. He also had many nieces and nephews. Predeceased loved ones: father John Poag Sr., and sister Lorraine (Poag) Pickering. His wishes were to be cremated. We will be holding his services at Desert Christian Fellowship Church on August 2nd, 2014 at 11am. We will also be holding an additional service in his home town at a later date.
