Jack was born in Flagstaff, Arizona on April 4, 1947 and graduated from Alhambra High School in Phoenix in 1966.
He enjoyed hunting, fishing and being with his family. Jack also enjoyed looking for relics and rocks along the Verde River as well as making walking sticks. He spent twelve years in the Verde Valley and the last two years of his life were spent in Phoenix, Arizona where he enjoyed being with his nieces and nephews.
Jack had been a member of the International Union of Operating Engineers local 428, following in the footsteps of his grandfather, father, brother and uncle in the road construction industry.
He is preceded in death by his daughter, Vicki Ritchhart; father, Eugene Ritchhart (Helga); mother, Wanda Marshall (Howard) and brother, Darwin E. Ritchhart.
Jack is survived by his sister, Eva Keesler (Roland) and stepsister, Judy Hancock; sister-in-law, Peggy Ritchhart along with nieces and nephews.
A private Graveside Ceremony will be held at a future date.
