Isabelle Downing, 87, passed away on a beautiful Sunday morning, March 4, 2012. She was born in Detroit, Michigan on May 29, 1924 and after growing up in South Bend, Indiana, she moved to Phoenix in 1944 and married John Downing in 1947. She held several positions with the Federal Government retiring in 1980. She is survived by her two sons, David and Robert, five grandchildren and two great-grandchildren. Services will be held at 10:00 A.M. on Friday, March 9, 2012 in the Serenity Chapel at the Greenwood Memory Lawn Cemetery at 2300 W. Van Buren in Phoenix.
