Guadalupe Moroyoqui Gonzales

Guadalupe Moroyoqui Gonzales 88 years of age was born in Queen Creek, AZ on February 14, 1923 to Maria and Demetrio Moroyqui. On November 28th, 2011 surrounded by her beloved family, she entered into our Heavenly Father’s arms. She handled her illness as she did her life with a tremendous amount of strength, dignity, and grace. She will be missed by all, she survived by her children: Robert Gonzales, Celia Matus, Virginia Saniz, Ofelia Gonzales, Henry Gonzales(deceased), Lorenzo Gonzales Jr., Lydia Valdez, and Barbara Carrasco. Her beloved 20 grandchildren, 30 great grandchildren, and eight great great grandchildren will truly miss her warm smile and time-honored way of life. Lupe spent her years in the kitchen cooking family recipes always trying to instill people with her old traditional outlook on life. She touched so many peoples lives and was deeply loved by everyone who was blessed enough to have to crossed her path. Visitation will be held at East Resthaven Park Mortuary 4310 E. Southern Ave, Phoenix, AZ 85042 on Friday, December 9, 2011 from 5:00-8:00pm. Rosary will begin at 7:00pm. Funeral Mass will be held at Saint Edwards Catholic Church, 4410 E. Southern Ave, and Phoenix, AZ 85042 at 10:00am, Interment will follow at East Resthaven Park Cemetery 4310 S. Southern Ave, Phoenix, AZ 85042.
