Greg was born in Spirit Lake, IA on 2/20/1954. He attended Spirit Lake High School and also graduated from the University of South Dakota in 1978. He worked for the South Dakota Geological Survey from 1972 until 1980. He worked with Oklahoma Council of Governments from 1981-1984, then he moved to Phoenix and worked for the Arizona Department of Water Resources 1985 to 2003 and then with EL Montgomery &Assoc. from 2004 to 2010.
In his free time he loved working on classic cars, David Bradley tractors, and spending time with his family.
Greg was preceded in death by his father and mother, Lynn and Loraine Wallace of Spirit Lake, IA.
He was married to Patricia Lien on 8/78 and is survived by their three children and one grandson: Lindsay Buena, Shane and Natalie Wallace. Greg has four living siblings: Doug Wallace, Omaha, NE; Jane Bujanovich, Granby, CO; Connie Leimer, Hermosa, SD; and Cathie Vancura, Lakefield MN.
