Gordon was born on July 9,1964 in Wainwright Alberta, Canada.
Gordon and his family moved to Phoenix, Arizona in the United States in 1978 when he was just 14 years old. Gordon attended High School in Phoenix, AZ.
After High School, Gordon honorably served in the United States Army.
After his service, Gordon worked as a skilled and talented Welder for many years.
Gordon is the father of four wonderful children, Angella, Dustin, Ashley and Amelia that he loved so dearly and has always been so proud of.
Gordon met his wife and very best friend, Vicky Eaton MacArthur and they married on March 27, 2004. In marrying Vicky, Gordon gained two more beautiful daughters, Nicole and Stevie.
Gordon began working for the family business, All Trans Manufacturing as a Customer Service Representative and quickly became one of their most valued employees. Gordon was exceptional with people and customer service. He was very knowledgeable and proud of his work.
Gordon had the best sense of humor and loved to make people laugh. He was very fun and quick with his humor. Thankfully a few (maybe all) of his children have inherited that gift from him. No one appreciated his humor more than Vicky. They had a very special relationship. He loved spending time with her and making her laugh.
Gordon was a very kind and good man that always made you feel welcome, comfortable and cared for. Gordon will be dearly missed by all who are lucky enough to have known him.
Gordon is preceded in death by his loving mother Elizabeth Jean MacArthur, his brother Richard MacArthur, his beloved grandson Damarkus Edison, his mother in law Carla Eaton, and his other best friend and father in law Jack Eaton.
Gordon is survived by his wife Vicky MacArthur. His children: Angella (Sean) McGowan, Dustin (Amie) MacArthur, Ashley McCarty, Amelia (Scott) Sise, Nicole (Stephen Johnson) Walter and Stevie Oakes. His Grandchildren: Paul Austin, Zachary, Kyleigh, Liam, Tommy, Gaius, Hadrian, Charlie, Everett, Katie, Lainey, Zoe, Gauge and Serenity, and his new Great Granddaughter: Sage. His brothers: Ken (Joanne) MacArthur, Doug (Sandy) Mueller. His sister: Leslie (James) Stone, and many aunts, uncles, nieces, nephews, cousins and friends.
Family and friends are welcome to attend a Celebration of Life Visitation and Funeral Service at Phoenix Memorial Park and Mortuary, 200 W Beardsley Road, Phoenix, AZ 85027, on Tuesday July 11, 2023. The Visitation is from 10:00 a.m. to 12:00 p.m. followed by the Funeral at 12:00 p.m. to 1:00 p.m.
