Gloria J. Nelson- 95, of Phoenix, passed away on October 12, 2018. She was born on December 17.1922 to the late, Genaro and Josephine (Lupoli) Crescenti. She attended East Haven High School in New Haven, Ct. Gloria worked as a dental assistant, homemaker and enjoyed cooking and reading. She was an avid reader of the Arizona Republic. She also enjoyed spending time with her friends and family. Gloris is survived by her daughter, Regina J. Askue and grandson Devin H. Askue. She was preceded in death by her husband Clarence "Larry" Nelson. A visitation will be held at 9:30 am Thursdau, October 25, 2018 at 9:30 am Thursday, October 25, 2018 at Advantage Maryvale Funeral Home 6901 W. Indian School Rd. Phoenix, AZ. A funeral service will follow, with a committal at National Memorial Cemetery of Arizona.
