Gerald Thomas Rojeski passed away peacefully on May 28, 2017 . He spent his final days gazing through his bedroom window at the quail he loved so much . Several of his children were there to care for him in the end.
Born in Superior Wisconsin on December 21, 1927, he enlisted in the Navy at sixteen to serve his country honorably aboard the U.S.S. Cole as a gunners mate in WWII, Pacific Theater.
An elder for The First Christian Church in Sun City, he was an inspiration and positive influence for his friends and family as well as the community he lived in.
Jerry is survived by his three sons, Gary, Terry and Larry, two daughters, Debby and Jacque and eleven grandchildren.
There will be a service at The First Christian Church on Friday, June 23, 2017, followed by a Naval Honors Ceremony which will take place at the Arizona Veterans Cemetery, where his ashes will be placed at 1:30pm
