George Bradley Schoen was born on May 26, 1985 in Phoenix, AZ. He was proceeded in death by his father, George Michael Schoen. Bradley is survived by his mother, Mary Ann Schoen, sister, Amber Van Dorn, nieces, Caelan and Darby Sims and nephew, Rowyn Sims. He is also survived by many aunts, uncles and cousins.
Bradley was well known and loved in school and by all who met him throughout his life. Amber was always known as Bradley's little sister, a title she didn’t necessarily love growing up with but she is proud to be known as his little sister now. In fourth through sixth grade, he was the spelling bee winner. In fifth grade he was selected for the governor’s Ability Counts Award. He loved sports and enjoyed playing baseball for the Challenger Little League.
In adulthood, when he wasn't cracking jokes, catching up on history or playing war games on his PS4, he attended day programs where he did several activities and small jobs. In spite of his physical and health challenges, Bradley was tenderhearted and sensitive. He wasn't well known by many but he won the hearts of those he kept close. His huge smile, sense of humor and red hair will be deeply missed by those who loved him most.
In lieu of flowers the family is requesting donations be made in Bradley's name to the Spina Bifida Association or Hospice of the Valley.
