George Peter Harris Jr.

George Peter Harris, Jr. 73, of Phoenix Arizona passed away at his home, Wednesday, September 19, 2012. George was born in Oak Park, Illinois, January 7, 1939, the son of George P. and Patricia Harris, Sr. He is survived by his loving family, wife, Patricia D. "Patsy" Harris. Six children: Katherine A. Keidel, George P. Harris, III, Laura E. Stocco, John Mertes, Stephanie A. Shively, and Robert J. Harris. One brother: Robert A. Harris. Ten grandchildren. George was an honored U.S. Navy Veteran serving his country proudly.

Visitation will be Sunday, September 23, 2012, 5:00 P.M.to 9:00 P.M., with a Trisagion at 7:00 P.M., at Phoenix Memorial Mortuary Chapel, 200 West Beardsley Road, Phoenix, Arizona 85027. Funeral Service will be Monday, September 24, 2012, 10:00 A.M., at the Holy Trinity Greek Orthodox Cathedral, 1973 E. Maryland Ave., Phoenix, Arizona, Fr. John Angelis officiating. Burial will be Friday, September 28, 2012, 10:00 A.M., at Elmwood Cemetery, 2905 Thather Road, River Grove, Illinois with U.S. Navy Military Honors.
