George Guzman, 78 years old of Phoenix, AZ, passed December 16, 2020 of complications from dementia. George Guzman was born March 24, 1942 in Austin, TX to parents Frank and Vera Guzman. He was the last survivor of brothers Frank Guzman, Robert Guzman, Pete Guzman and sister Patsy Guzman. He was married and divorced to Alice Guzman (deceased) and he had one daughter, Julia Soza (Henry) and raised Jona Guzman. He also helped raise step-children Lucy Gonzales (Rudy), Frank Villa (Mona-Lisa) and Tom Villa. George had eleven grandchildren, twenty-seven great grandchildren and one great-great grandchild. George was a loving father and grandfather. He will be remembered for being easy-going, kind hearted and fun spirited. Services will be held Tuesday, January 12, 2021 at 11:00am at Greenwood Mortuary, 719 N. 27th Avenue, Phoenix, Arizona. Interment will follow at St. Francis Cemetery, 2033 N. 48th St., Phoenix, Arizona.
