Frank Valencia passed through heaven’s gate on August 11, surrounded by his family and loved ones, after his courageous and noble battle with cancer. Frank is survived by his devoted wife, Patty, four daughters, Rose Marie, Josie, Stella, Patty, and two sons, Frankie and Robert, as well as 14 grandchildren and 9 great grandchildren. He is also survived by his brothers Tony and Henry, and his sister Rita. Frank served in the 82nd Airborne during the mid 1950’s. After his military service Frank returned from overseas and started his family. As the patriarch of a large but close knit family, Frank served as the nucleus for the love and attention worthy of the very special man that he was. He enjoyed fishing, camping, watching his local sports teams, movies, and doting on his grandchildren and great-grandchildren. Because of his resourcefulness and ingenuity, he served the entire family by helping with repairs of all kinds, home maintenance and improvement, and assisting the family whenever needed. Frank touched all those that he met, and he will be greatly missed, but his presence will remain forever as he watches over his family from heaven.
