Born to James & Nadine Smith on January 28th, 1955, in Phoenix, AZ. He is preceded in death by his mother and father, and brother Robert D. Sullivan.
Frank is survived by his partner of 45 years Mark VanFossan, Brothers; James G. Smith of Chattaroy, WA. George E. Smith of Phoenix, AZ. Jerry A. Turner of Fayetteville, NC. Sisters: Sharon M. Parks of Chandler, AZ. Karen L. Steinberger of Sun City West, AZ. Phyllis Gonzales of Phoenix, AZ.
After finishing high school in 1973 at Maryvale High in Phoenix, Arizona, Frank set out to find work in the automotive industry. His love of cars found him his first job at Mecham Pontiac in Glendale, Arizona as an Automotive Detail Specialist. After many years at Mecham Pontiac he left to go work at Coulter Cadillac in Phoenix, Arizona. He worked there until he retired in 2018.
Frank had a lifetime love of cars, at a very early age he could tell you what make and year a car was and all the details about the car. Frank was also a car collector and over the years had hundreds of cars that he loved and cherished. He also had a love of toy cars and had many unique and rare cars in his collection.
